Organic Rapadura Sugar (Panela)
Through minimal processing, this unrefined sugar, made from evaporated sugar cane juice, maintains its natural nutritional qualities, its amazing colour and unqiue caramel flavour!

Organic Raw Sugar
Grown on a cooperative of sustainable family farms in Paraguay, the sugar mills used to produce this are 100% energy self sufficient! They use the crushed cane stalks, called bagasse, to fuel the boilers and to cogenerate electricity to operate the mill. The leaves and tops of the cane plants are left in the fields as a nutrient source for the soil and as a natural form of weed control.
