Tips for the kids
Children's eating habits are much easier to change than adults. They are also more likely to try and enjoy nutritious foods than we might expect. Expose them to new healthy choices wherever possible and just remember if they don't like it one day they are just as likely to like it the next. Make it interesting and fun and if your child is 'stubborn' get them to choose their own snacks.  All you have to do is provide them with a variety of healthy choices to choose from.Let your child choose their own nuts, dried fruit & seeds to go in a trail mix. Make it fun. They can get their hands in and mix it up. You may be pleasantly surprised by what they choose, and best of all they will probably eat it.Choose fruits that are easy to eat and not messy. This is why dried fruit are a good option. Organic dried bananas and apricots and a great choice for children that are teething. Not only are they soothing on the gums they are a healthy and nutritious snack.
