Instead of using bourghul, which is commonly used in tabouleh, we are using sesame seeds, making it a tasty gluten-free dish to enjoy!
Ingredients 1/2 cup Hulled Sesame seeds, lightly toasted 1 small Spanish onion, finely sliced 1 large Lemon (juiced) 2-3 Tomatoes, diced 1 bunch Continental Parsley, finely chopped 1 bunch fresh Mint, finely chopped Olive Oil Salt & Pepper
Method Add the onion to a large bowl and soak in the lemon juice (this takes away that raw onion taste). Then add the tomatoes, parsley & mint. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan until lightly golden, and add these to mixture, along with a liberal splash of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
