Eden Organic Pinto Beans, one of America's most popular beans, are expertly prepared at their certified, organic, kosher cannery in Indiana. The beans are washed, soaked overnight and thoroughly cooked with purified water and kombu sea vegetable which contains a natural glutamic acid that softens the beans, in addition to enhancing the flavour. Spotted when dry (pinto means 'painted' in Spanish), pintos are pale red when cooked.
