These lentils are lens shaped and brown or greenish-brown in colour. They are versatile and quick cooking, these lentils hold their shape well once cooked but are also mashed or pureed easily. To cook cover in a saucepan with water or stock, bring to the boil, cover & simmer for 10-30 mins until tender. For a firmer texture add a little oil and cook for a shorter time.
