This blanched almond meal is white or creamy in colour due to the removal of the thin brown husk prior to the almonds being ground into the meal. Blanched almond meal is commonly used as an ingredient in cooking including cakes and biscuits and can also be added to smoothies. Almond meal is also called almond flour.
