Manuka honey is well known for its anti-bacterial & healing properties, this is due to its methylglyoxal content. This honey has methylglyoxal concentration of 30+ mg/kg.  Manuka honey is used to give relief to a wide range of symptoms, including those of colds & flu, heartburn & peptic ulcers, it can also be applied topically to skin conditions. Enjoy this beautiful honey anywhere you would use regular honey. 

If your honey develops a candied, sugary appearance during the colder weather, simply place the jar (with its lid on loosely) in a pan of warm water until it softens & re-liquifies. Do not heat it above 40 deg C & minimise the honey's exposure to heat & light as much as possible in order to retain all of its natural goodness.
