PRODUCT INFORMATION

Ingredients

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup jasmine rice, washed and drained
4 sprigs thyme
1 stick cinnamon
1/3 cup blanched almonds, toasted
4 tablespoon organic raisins
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 lemon zested

method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and gently sauté the onion for 2 minutes.

  2. Add the rice, thyme, cinnamon stick and water and bring to the boil.

  3. Cover the pan, reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is completely cooked through.

  4. Remove the cinnamon stick and stir through the almonds, raisins, lemon juice and zest.
