2 tsp organic pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla powder
2 cups pecan kernels
1 tbsp organic virgin coconut oil, melted
1 tsp organic ground cinnamon
- In a mixing bowl combine pecans with coconut oil and maple syrup. Toss to coat well.
- Add vanilla and cinnamon and toss to coat well.
- Heat frying pan over low-medium heat. Add pecans and agitate pan regularly. Toast for 3 - 4 minutes or until pecans are fragrant and lightly toasted.
- Allow to completely cool. Store in an air-tight container.
- Variations: For the hardcore sugar free fan: Reduce quantity or omit maple syrup.
