How much you use of this tea will depend on how strong you like your tea. As a simple rule, one small teaspoon is enough for one cup of tea. Add the desired amount of tea to your tea infuser or teapot, cover with freshly boiled water and all to steep for 3-5mins. Serve alone or with a sweetener if you prefer.
Sencha tea is made without grinding the tea leaves. The leaves are tightly rolled and needle shaped. Sencha means simmered tea referring to the method that the tea is made from the dried tea leaves.
