Khorasan, also known as Kamut, is an ancient relative of the modern wheat grain. This unbleached, white Khorasan (Kamut) flour is roller milled from Australian grown, certified organic grain.
Similar to Spelt flour, Khorasan does contain gluten however is said to be easier to digest for those with wheat sensitivities.
Khorasan flour has a buttery, nutty flavour and can be used 1:1 substitute for all-purpose flour. The full flavour is delicious in home-made bread, cakes, pasta and pizza dough.
