Organic Unbleached White Self Raising Flour is a low-protein, low gluten unbleached white flour with a raising agent added. It has a light creamy colour, is more flavoursome and has a stronger texture than other white self raising flours. It can be used as an all-purpose self-raising flour suitable for many everyday cooking needs.

Organic Unbleached White Self-raising flour is used in baking and cake-making, as a short-cut in baking, or by vegans who do not eat eggs (the extra raising agent in the flour does the eggs’ work). Ideally it should be refrigerated to retain freshness.
Organic Unbleached White Self Raising Flour is produced by milling the whole wheat-grain and sieving out the bran, then adding levening agents Cream of Tartar and Bicarbonate of Soda, acceptable additives under strict organic standards. Unlike most commercially available white self-raising flours, there is no bleaching, no further refinements and no other additives. Retains a substantial proportion of wheats nutrients, although much of the dietary fibre is lost.
