It is ideal for baking delicate white cakes, biscuits and pastries where a tender and delicate texture is desired. Contains approx 8-9% Protein.

To substitute cake flour for general bakers flour use 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of cake flour for every cup of bakers flour.

This Organic Unbleached White Cake Flour is produced by mainly from Rosella wheat which is a variety of soft wheat. It is produced by milling the whole wheat grain and sieving off of the bran. Unlike most commercially available white flours, there is no bleaching, no further refinements and no additives. While much of the dietary fibre is lost by removing the bran, it retains a substantial proportion of wheats nutrients.
