Macadamia Oil 375ml

Plenty Foods
$12.95

Plenty Foods Macadamia Oil is cold pressed from Australian grown macadamia nuts and is naturally rich in essential fatty acids. Macadamia nut oil has a unique, sweet nutty flavour that makes a fantastic base for salad dressings, marinades as well as used in baking recipes. This oil has a very high smoking point, making it excellent for frying and adding flavour to stir-fry dishes.
Macadamia oil is also very moisturising, regenerating and softening for the skin due to its high level of monounsaturated fatty acids.

HOW TO USE

Macadamia Oil has a mild nutty flavour with a very high heat tolerance. It is ideal for pan frying fish or veal, and also for marinating BBQ meats. The oil can also be used to flavour baking recipes such as cakes and slices.

Macadamia Oil can be used in skin care remedies to help nourish and moisturise dry skin.

GROWING & PROCESSING

This Macadamia Oil is cold pressed from Australian grown macadamias.

Cold pressing refers to oils obtained through pressing fruit or seeds with a modern steel press. Although pressing produces heat through friction, the oilseeds are not precooked and consequently the oil is considered cold pressed - in contrast to large scale solvent extraction and refining operations which strip the oil of natural antioxidants, vitamins and flavour.
