A premium blend of pure organic Ceylon green tea from Sri Lanka, this tea leaves a distinct floral flavour on your palate. Steamed after picking to stop the oxidation process, this blend brews a strong flavour with sweet overtones and a clean finish. You can even steep this tea up to three times!
The Zoetic range of teas are all fairtrade and organic, with staple free teabags that are home compostable.
HOW TO USE
Use off the boil water that has cooled slightly (80°C) and brew for 2-3 minutes. Allow teabag to cool then place in home compost / worm farm. You can add a dash of fresh lemon juice or lemon slices to counteract any bitter flavours if you've steeped the tea for too long. Alternatively, adding a bit of honey can help add a little sweetness to this earthy tea.
GROWING & PROCESSING
Certified Fairtrade (100%), organic and a fannings grade tea, which is a higher quality teabag tea than many brands (that use a lower grade tea 'dust'). Ceylon tea is a product of India.
Zoetic teabags are commercially and home compostable and are not stapled, but are innovatively string tied, which makes them fully compostable, unlike many teabags.
