Organic Wholemeal Self Raising Flour is a low-protein, low gluten wholemeal flour with raising agents added. It is medium-brown in colour and gives a hearty flavour and robust texture to baked goods.

Extra liquid may be required as the wholemeal bran absorbs more liquid than white flour. To increase the lightness of baked goods, organic wholemeal self raising flour may need to be mixed with plain white wholemeal flour or spelt flour.

Organic wholemeal self raising flour still contains the bran and germ as well as the endosperm and is, therefore, highly nutritious. There are no other additives, bleaching or refinement.
