Based in Fremantle, Western Australia, Urban Forager partners with local organic farmers to source the highest-quality farm fresh ingredients: Apple cider vinegar from Pemberton; grass fed organic beef from Mumballup; olive oil from GinGin; and vegetables come from the Gasgoyne and south-west of WA.

How many litres of stock does each jar make?
Each jar of stock makes 10 litres of liquid when made as directed.
How long can I keep a jar in the fridge once I’ve opened it?
Twelve months. Just use a clean spoon each time you use the product and keep the stocks in the fridge when not in use.
Are the products Vegan?
Urban Forager has a great range of vegan products including Vegetable Stock Concentrate, Mushroom Stock Concentrate & Vegan Umami Broth.

No, there are no hidden ingredients in the products.
How does a meat product stay safe for 12 months?
Urban Forager’s products are preserved by the addition of lake salt and apple cider vinegar. In combination with manufacturing technique, this keeps the product safe, as long as you use a clean spoon. The products are regularly tested at food testing laboratories for quality assurance and the process is approved by the relevant food safety authorities.
Is the chicken free-range?
The chickens Urban Forager sources are organic chickens that have 4 times more space than their free-range cousins.
Is the beef grass fed?
Yes. The beef is from Australian Organic Meat Co. and is grass-fed.
