EPSOM SALTS

Epsom salts are named after Epsom, England, where these salts were originally obtained by boiling down mineral waters that flowed through this area. Technically, Epsom is not actually a salt, but a naturally occurring mineral compound of magnesium and sulphur, also known as magnesium sulphate.

Most common Epsom salts are manufactured from Sulphuric Acid, Magnesium Oxide and Sea Water. Our 100% Natural Epsom Salts have been sustainably extracted from natural deposits in Germany, so you can enjoy your bath, spa or float knowing you are soaking in the purest Epsom Salt available! We are proud to source our salts from the only naturally occurring deposit of Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulphate) in the world!

Unlike manufactured Epsom Salts, these natural salts are FCC Food Grade and therefore are assured to be high in quality and purity. Epsom Salt (when absorbed through the skin) contains therapeutic properties which can help to relax and relieve muscle aches and inflammation in joints. MAGNESIUM FLAKES

Magnesium flakes are made from magnesium chloride. Genuine Zechstein® magnesium is sustainably extracted from the ancient Zechstein Seabed, which is 250 million years old and lies 1500 to 2000 meters deep beneath the surface of the earth. Zechstein magnesium is considered to be the purest form of magnesium available, as this seabed has been isolated from pollutants and contaminants found in today’s oceans.

To create the flake, Zechstein seawater is drawn up from this bed and is then naturally dried into thin, flaked pieces. Our  Zechstein Magnesium Flakes are pure, unrefined and unadulterated. We have ensured our flakes are sourced with minimal impact on the environment and will continue to be available for generations to come.

DEAD SEA SALTS

The Dead Sea is well known for being abundant with mineral-rich salt. While most sea salt contains 85% sodium chloride, Dead Sea salt has a much lower 30.5% sodium chloride content. In its place, Dead Sea salt contains magnesium, calcium, potassium, zinc and a bunch of other beneficial minerals.

Our Dead Sea Salts are simply solar evaporated salt from the shores of Ein Bokek, Israel where the concentration of minerals is highest. They are 100% chemical and additive free, using only air to filter out insoluble crystals or dirt particles.
