PRODUCT INFORMATION

Ingredients

Base:
70g organic raw almonds
70g organic hazelnuts
6 organic Medjool dates, pitted

Middle layer:
155g organic coconut cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp organic coconut oil
1 tbsp organic cacao powder
1 tbsp organic maple syrup
1/2 cup organic brown rice puffs

Top layer:
100g organic dark chocolate
Pinch of Himalayan salt
Handful of organic hazelnuts, chopped.

method

  1. In a high-powered blender or food processor, blend all base ingredients until a crumbly texture is formed. 
  2. In a lined baking tray, press the mixture until flat and even. Place in freezer.
  3. Place all middle layer ingredients, except brown rice puffs, into a blender and blend on a high speed until a smooth batter is formed. 
  4. Fold through brown rice puffs. Pour over base and smooth out with a spatula. Return to the freezer. 
  5. In a bowl, break the chocolate into small pieces with the salt and place in the microwave for 30-second intervals, mixing in between until melted. 
  6. Pour over the middle layer and smooth out. Place chopped hazelnuts on top. 
  7. Place in freezer for two hours before slicing.
