HOW TO USE
They are a delicious guilt-free snack or in your breakfast muesli! These organic prunes are soft and ready to eat. Additional cooking gently until plum further softened may be preferred. Avoid overcooking prunes.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Refrigerate after opening.
As this is a preservative-free, raw product, higher temperatures can cause the moisture and the sugar in the fruit to react (starting the fermentation process) so we recommend refrigeration.
GROWING & PROCESSING
Fresh organically grown and certified plums are picked, washed and dehydrated under hot air (> 70 deg C) to reach approximately 18% moisture. The dried organic prunes then graded to specification required.
The graded organic prunes are then washed and cooked in hot water/steam to soften and protect from year and mould growth.
These are prepared without the use of preservatives.
