Great anti-inflammatory option
As I have ongoing pain and restriction from back problems and other issues and high levels of inflammation, I was on a high strength Fentanyl patch for several years. It only ever seemed to "take the edge off" and I hated using such a strong drug. After doing research, I came across both ginger and turmeric as natural anti-inflammatory and thus pain relieving options and bought a 1kg bag of turmeric from Honest to Goodness around 18 months ago. I make home-made capsules from the powder (using natural gel capsules) and take 3-5 turmeric capsules a day depending on my pain levels. When I first began this, I weaned myself off the Fentanyl patch. Now I find I get just as much pain relief from turmeric as I did from the high dose Fentanyl patch! It can be a bit of a nuisance to have to make so many capsules by hand, but I purchased an online manual capsule maker and can do 100 at a time, so suggest you keep an eye out for one to make life a little easier and save yourself lots of time and effort. I definitely recommend this turmeric product to reduce inflammation and pain. It's been 18 months since I purchased my 1kg bag, and I'm only now just buying another.
