Rich, dark and gluten free brownie - the ultimate indulgence! Made using Cassava Flour, a standout against all other alternative flours.
I love to use dark chocolate in this recipe, however if you have a sweet tooth, opt for milk chocolate.
In a bowl, melt chocolate, butter and sugar together. This may be done in a bain-marie or in a microwave with 20 second bursts, stirring mixture between every burst. Allow to cool slightly.
Stir eggs into the chocolate mixture one at a time.
In a separate bowl sift and combine dry ingredients.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients 1/3 at a time, be sure not to overmix the batter.
Optional - fold nuts/dry fruit into mixture.
Pour the batter into a lined baking tray. Bake at 170 degrees for approximately 18 minutes. Time may vary slightly depending on your oven.
Allow the brownies to cool at least 30 minutes after baking. They’re best served slightly warm.
