We may be a little late to the game, but wow baked oats are so delicious. They’re like a muffin/cake/oatmeal all in one. This recipe is so indulgent, the perfect breakfast to share between two.
Coffee, Chocolate and maple butter… a heavenly mix!
Pre heat oven to 180C.
Add the banana and all the wet ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk until combined.
Add in oats, chia, baking powder and salt and mix well until combined.
Heat the coconut oil in your small cast iron skillet (or any other oven safe dish) until oil is melted, spread evenly across the skillet and up the sides.
Add in your oat mixture.
Top with some chocolate pearls.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden.
Serve with a big dollop of maple butter and some fresh banana.
