SHORT DESCRIPTION

Create your own nourishing lip balm all-year-round with this simple, adaptable recipe. Why not create a large batch, and gift to loved ones?

INGREDIENTS

1 tbs Organic Shea Butter 
1/2 tbs Organic Coconut Oil 
Peppermint esential oil

DESCRIPTION

  1. Put the Shea Butter and coconut oil in a glass jar. E.g. a reused nut butter jar.
  2. Put the jar in a small saucepan of water and heat over low heat until the shea butter and coconut oil have just melted.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add in a few drops of essential oil, according to the strength you would prefer, mix well. 
  5. Decant into a small jar, or an empty lip balm tube.  
  6. Set in the fridge for a smoother consistency. 

To note:

If you’re not a fan of mint, why not try Sweet Orange, Lemon or Lavender, or create your own fragrant blend.
