Recipe Title: Cleansing Facial Grains

Serves: Makes enough for 5 applications

 

Intro: These grains work to gently exfoliate and remove the days grime. We've provided 2 options here depending on whether your skin is normal or more oily/acneic.

 

Ingredients

Organic Rolled Oats

Almonds

Bentonite Clay

Activated charcoal

 

Method

Blitz all ingredients together in a food processor to form a fine, sandy texture.

If you have more oily/acneic skin add the activated charcoal.

Store in an airtight jar

To use: Take 1 tsp of the grain and mix with a bit of water to form a paste.

Gently massage all over your face in circular motions

Rinse off or leave for 5-10 minutes for a super cleansing facial mask

Follow with moisturizer.

 

 

Storage/use By: Store in an airtight container/jar in a cool, dry place. Use within 1 month.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

These 'grains' work to clean skin and gently exfoliate. We've provided two options here depending on your skin type. To use, Add 1-2 tsp to the palm of your hand and mix with a small amount of tap water to form a paste. Massage gently onto face and neck for 1 minute then rinse off with warm water. Alternatively, leave on for 10 minutes as a face mask before gently rinsing with water. Follow with moisturiser. Can be used daily.

DESCRIPTION

  1. Using a coffee grinder or food processor, process Almonds, Oats & Tea (if using) to form a fine, sandy texture.
  2. Stir in Bentonite clay using a non-metal spoon.
  3. Add Activated Charcoal if you are oily/acneic.
  4. Store in an airtight jar.
