Organic Red Miso Paste has a rich flavour and taste. It is made by traditional and natural fermentation methods that produce unpasteurised, fresh live miso.
Live miso contains active enzymes that aid digestion, as well as helping to tenderise meat or fish. It also brings out nice Umami flavour, often being used to make soup, dressings, dipping sauces or added to a hot pot.
Red miso paste has a longer fermentation process than white miso paste.
No GMO. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. No artifical preservatives, colours or flavours.
Store in a cool dry place (refrigeration is required after opening).
The colour of the miso may become darker but does not affect the quality of the product. White spots may appear on the surface but it is a healthiness in authentic miso. The package may expand due to the activity of live miso.
